Today's video is an example of a llamada for soleá.
In the llamada for soleá the accents (counts 3, 6, 8, 10 and 12) are all marked with an emphasis on counts 1, 2 and 3. The llamada finishes on count 12 in the second compás.
It is important to notice that the speed of the compás does not increase, it is kept very steady while the space inbetween the counts (1, 2, 3 etc..) is divided into smaller beats.
You would use this type of llamada before or after a verse of soleá.
